Sean Manuel
Sean has been with the Champaign Fire Department since February 6 of 2017. Sean was one of the many dedicated members whom helped establish the Benevolent fund. He is very passionate about the job and even more passionate about raising money for charity. He says his finest achievement thus far is organizing and planning the Blazing Pianos event in February.

Stephen Mcconkey
Stephen was born and raised in Champaign. He has been with CFD since 2008, currently serving as a Lieutenant. Stephen is passionate about helping his community and has been involved with many charitable organizations.

Jason Rector
Jason Rector serves as vice-chair of the benevolent fund. Jason started at CFD in 2008 and currently serves as a Captain. He resides in Champaign with his wife Lisa and three children.

Andy Quarnstrom
Andy has been a Champaign Firefighter since 1997. He also served over 10 years as the City of Champaign Township Supervisor and has volunteered for numerous local non-profits throughout the community.

Levi Lustfeldt
Levi Lustfeldt serves as the Secretary of the Benevolent Fund and a founding member. Levi has been with the Champaign Fire Department since 2009 and currently serves as a Lieutenant. He has also been a part of the L1260 charities committee for 14 years and enjoys giving back to the community. Levi resides on a farm with his wife and child.

Karen Cochrane
Karen has lived in the Champaign area for most of her life and worked with Illini Radio Group in sales, marketing and management for over 30 years. She has served on the board and worked with many local non-profits and is currently a CU One to One Mentor for Unit 4. She has 3 sons, two of them first responders including a son who is a Champaign Firefighter.

Butch Dalhaus
Butch was born and raised in Champaign County and currently resides in St Joseph with his wife of 43 years (Sheryl). They have 2 children and three grandkids they enjoy chasing around to their various activities. He has been involved with multiple charities for most of his adult life. The Champaign County volunteer firefighters organization is one of his main passions and actively supports them. He very much appreciates the work first responders provide in keeping our communities safe.

Paula Hays
Paula Adametz Hays is part of the CFD family as her husband was a firefighter for over 30 years, retiring in 2021. Paula retired from the University of Illinois after over 30 years of service and promptly started her own small business. Paula is passionate about supporting our firefighter famillies in good times and difficult ones.
